Weddings |
In 2009 we celebrated more marriages than
any other church in Peterborough, and in 2011 the church was
also very popular so book early!
The lych gate, and nearby Itter Park, provide beautiful settings
for photographs. Initially couples should contact the Rector
to discuss arrangements, and are expected to attend church to
have their banns published. Bells and choir are available. Fees
apply, and these depend on the requirements of the happy couple. |

Funerals |
|
Funeral services are conducted in church and
these are arranged in consultation with the clergy and funeral
directors. All Saintsâ is a closed churchyard
which means that burials no longer take place here, but we have
a small remembrance garden for the burial of ashes. |

Baptisms
(or Christenings - it means the same) |
|
Baptisms take place in this church on the
second and fourth Sundays of each month at noon. Exceptions are
Easter Sunday and the Sunday after Christmas. Occasionally, it
is possible to arrange a baptism during the regular morning service
if required.
There is no fee for baptisms, but you will
be asked to make a donation of £25 towards the upkeep of
our beautiful church. Baptismal Certificates and cards for Godparents
are given out at the service. The church has produced a "Welcome
to Baptism" pack that gives all the information you need.
We have a Baptism Team consisting of people who will answer your
questions and help you to prepare. Those preparing for baptism
are encouraged to become part of the regular worshipping church
family for two to three months before the planned date.
At a small cost, our church hall is usually
available for parties after the ceremony if required |
